Claisse: 'Course is in Good Nick'

Chris Kisby - 11 Mar 2009

A dry night at Cheltenham as meant that the going is good to soft, soft in places for day two of the Cheltenham Festival.

Clerk of the course Simon Claisse commented: "The course is in good nick and I'm very happy," he said. "I've been round it all this morning and the repair work has gone well because there was very little damage yesterday.

The pace of yesterday's Racing was red hot, emphasising that the going could not be riding any better for the prestigious meeting. Today's feature is the Queen Mother Champion Chase, and is sure to be run again at breakneck speed. Long time ante-post favourite Master Minded is now available at 2/5 with Hills for the feature.
