James Cameron - 26 Feb 2008

Tony McCoy is waiting to hear whether the British Horseracing Association will clear him to race at Cheltenham after his back injury.

Tony McCoy, who damaged his back after falling in January needs to convince the British Horseracing Association chief medical officer Dr Michael Turner.

"Until I see the reports and talk to him, I can't say when he will be racing again." Turner was reported as saying.

The 12-time Champion Jockey's recovery has reportedly been aided by Kriotherapy treatment, which involves going into an insulated compartment with temperatures as low as minus 135 degrees.
