Starluck earned a quote of 20/1 with Ladbrokes for the Champion Hurdle after a smooth comeback success for Alan Fleming and Timmy Murphy in the sportingbet.com Hurdle.
Fourth behind Zaynar in the Triumph Hurdle, Starluck outclassed his four opponents under a super-cool ride from Murphy.
"Timmy was very pleased with him and it was never in doubt," said Fleming.
"We'll tread carefully and any decision of where he runs will be made between (owner) Mr (Andrew) Wates and myself.
"This was a different class of race to the Triumph but Timmy does think he's strengthened-up and improved.
"Kempton is the main plan. The Christmas Hurdle should be right up his street, but there are a couple of opportunities in November at Newbury and Haydock."
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "Starluck seems to have grown up tremendously over the Summer and put in a really eye-catching run by winning at Cheltenham."
