Francois Doumen and Kasbah Bliss

Chris Kisby - 12 Mar 2009

Francois Doumen is used to the big pressure at Cheltenham, he has been there and done it twice in the World Hurdle with Baracouda, and today he bids to be the winning trainer again in the race with Kasbah Bliss.

Following a successful summer on the flat, Kasbah Bliss is reportedly in fine shape, and showed great credentials when winning the Grade Two Rendlesham Hurdle. Ridden by French Champion jockey Christophe Pieux, he has long been the ante-post favourite for the race and is best priced 5/4 with Coral.

Doumen said: 'I have got confidence in my horse and I wouldn't swap him for any other in the race'.

The World Hurdle is the feature of day three at the Festival, at 3.20 this afternoon.
