Thyne Again, who finished fourth in last season’s Arkle, got off to a winning start on seasonal debut at Naas this afternoon. Liam Burke’s charge produced an impressive display of jumping to win the Woodlands Park 100 Poplar Square Chase by 20 lengths.
William Hill were impressed by that performance and have cut him from 25-1 to 20-1 for the Queen Mother Champion Chase. They also gave him an opening show quote of 12-1 for the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham festival
Another horse that impressed the bookies was the runaway winner of the opener – Donnas Palm. Noel Meade charge made it two wins from two starts and her 13 length victory resulted in him getting an opening show quote of 25-1 for the Supreme Novice Hurdle.
