Cheltenham Festival Preview Nights

Racing enthusiasts from around Ireland and the UK are gathering to discuss prospects at Cheltenham Festival racing preview evenings.

EXETER RACECOURSE
Exeter Racecourse's Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening takes place on Wednesday, 27th February.  The all-star line up includes champion trainer Paul Nicholls, David Pipe, Johnson White, Andrew King from the Racing Post, with Alice Plunkett hosting the evening.  The evening starts at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £15 each (including food).  A raffle will also take place, with all proceeds going to the Sarah Gaisford Fund.  To book, please call the racecourse on 01392 832599

THE HELIX, DUBLIN 9
Wednesday, 27th February at 8pm.
In aid of Direct Aid to Africa, this evening costs €20 (which includes a €10 free bet with Victor Chandler!).
The panel includes:
Barney Curley, Mick Fitzgerald, John Carr, Nina Carberry, Andrew McNamara, Donn McClean (Sunday Times), Irish handicapper Noel O'Brien and legendary bookmaker Ian Marmion (from Victor Chandler).

COUNTY WATERFORD
The Woodlands Hotel, Waterford City
Thursday, 28th February, 8pm start
Chaired by Brian Gleeson
Panel : Henry de Bromhead (trainer, Sizing Europe), Mike Cattermole, John Francome, Davy Russell, Noel O'Brien (Senior Handicapper), Justin Carty (Betchronicle.com) and Pat Keane (Irish Examiner)
All proceeds from the evening go to St. Patrick's Hospital in Waterford.

KILLARNEY
The Dromhall Hotel, Killarney, at 9pm on Thursday, 28th February.

The panel includes David Duggan, Jim Culloty, Tom Doyle, Tom Cooper, Murt Murphy and Donal McCarthy, all chaired by Kevin O'Ryan from ATR.

COUNTY MEATH
'Cheltenham Unplugged', at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel
Tuesday, 4th March at 7.30pm
Chaired by RTE racing correspondent Colm Murray, the four-man panel consists of John Carr (trainer of Sublimity), jockey Barry Geraghty. Ivan Yeates from Celtic Bookmakers and David Jennings, sports editor of the Meath Post.

CARLISLE RACECOURSE
In The Patterson Bar, on the 1st floor of the Grandstand.
Tuesday, 4th March, starting at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm.
Hosted by Gordon Brown, the panel will include Tony Dobbin, John Budden and Paul Jones.

RHONDDA, SOUTH WALES
Wednesday 5th March at Ton Pentre Football Club.
Sponsored by Ladbrokes, this is the first evening of its kind in the South Wales Valleys and promises to be an informative evening, with guests Evan Williams, Tim Vaughan, Christian Williams and Emily Jones.
Tickets cost only £5, which includes a buffet, with proceeds from the evening going to the Injured Jockeys' Fund and local charities.

Sedgefield Racecourse hosts its first ever Cheltenham Preview Evening!
Wednesday, 5th March, at 7pm. Tickets cost only £5, which includes supper.
The panel comprises presenter Gordon Brown, Richie McGrath, Niall Hannity, Iain Turner (WBX) and Jennie Prest (William Hill).

Thursday, 6th Marchat 7.30pm
Hosted by Alice Plunkett, the panel will include champion trainer Paul Nicholls and jockey Tom Scudamore.
Tickets cost £25 each, including light refreshments, with all proceeds from the evening going to the Eloise and Katie Memorial Trust supporting Parkinson's Disease Research, Cancer Research and Youth Enablement.

Hosted by Gordon Brown, guests on the panel will include Tony Dobbin, Steve Smith Eccles, Niall Hannity, Ian Turner from WBX.com and Joe McNally. 
Tickets cost£15, this includes a free Cheltenham Festival Preview Booklet from the Racing Post, plus a prize draw for 2 Festival tickets.

CARTMEL RACECOURSE
Thursday 6th March, starting at 7pm.
The panel will include Denis O'Reagan, Ferdy Murphy, James Moffat and Marten Julian.
Tickets cost £10 and include a light supper.

LONDON
The London Racing Club's Annual Cheltenham Preview
At The Royal National Hotel, Thursday 6th March at 7.30pm
The panel features Nick Luck, Eddie Fremantle, Paul Ryan(the voice of Paddy Power Racing in Ireland), racecourse commentator Mark Johnson and senior handicapper Phil Smith. Members £10, non-members £15.
All those attending will receive a £5 Paddy Power betting voucher.

BIRMINGHAM
The Midlands Racing Club
The Barn Social Club, Brookvale Road, Witton.
Thursday, 6th March at 7.45pm, chaired by Chris Pitt.

The Official Cheltenham Preview, the panel will be chaired by Channel 4's own Mike Cattermole. The panel itself contains Mick Fitzgerald, Tom Segal (Pricewise from Racing Post) and local trainer Alan King.
